Johnny Depp played the fictional character of Captain Jack Sparrow in The Curse of the Black Pearl in 2003, Dead Man’s Chest in 2006, and At World’s End in 2007.  Most film critics praised Depp’s performance in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Captain Jack Sparrow was the Lord of the Caribbean, and uses wit and negotiation rather than weapons and force to avoid dangerous situations.   He will fight if necessary, but would rather flee.

The Jack Sparrow Costume starts with a patterned red bandana tied just below his hairline with his trademark dreadlocks flowing from it.  He has numerous items in his hair including beads, coins, and bones.

Over his V-neck white shirt is a blue vest, and then his knee length tweed frock coat.  Sparrow usually wore two belts over his olive grey colored pants.

Of course the feature of the Sparrow costume is the signature leather hat.  Other characters in the series could not wear leather hats, to ensure his hat was unique.
